My floor loom is a 48", 16 shaft AVL computerised dobby loom.

At over 40 years old it is still a joy to weave with.

 

I have been weaving for approximately 20 years, with a focus on fabric and housewares.

New Zealand wools feature heavily in my weaving, along with alpaca and silk. For my Masters study, I have been working with

hi-twist yarns, particularly cotton and wool, to create a contemporary garment collection using handwoven fabric.
